Stacy Phillips
"Bucktime"

Multi-instrumentalist Stacy Phillips is one of the finest bluegrass/old-timey players around. Though not as widely known as stars like Tony Trischka and Tony Rice, Connecticut-based Phillips is admired by all. "Bucktime" is a rollicking bluegrass instrumental from Phillips' new CD, From the Inside, which showcases him on dobro. Also featured on this hard-driving cut are Kenny Kosek, Tony Trischka, Barry Mitterhoff, and Jon Sholle. Not too shabby.
